Clifton Hill

MacKillop Education Clifton Hill is a Foundation to Year 12 school that provides targeted, personalised learning experiences for every student

MacKillop Education Clifton Hill is a Foundation to Year 12 school with a capacity of 80 enrolments. Class sizes are a maximum of ten students, with a Key Teacher and Education Support assigned to each classroom

In addition to being expert educators, our staff are trained in trauma-informed practice and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and have ongoing professional development in all areas of learning and teaching, targeted interventions and wellbeing support.

At MacKillop Education Clifton Hill, we work in partnership with parents and carers to provide a holistic approach to education. We collaborate as an interdisciplinary team, guided by The MacKillop Institute’s ReLATE education model, to enhance both the educational and wellbeing outcomes of our students.

We provide targeted, personalised learning experiences for every student. We plan with young people, guardians and carers Individual Education Plans and Safety Plans tailored to each child’s specific needs. Student progress and transition goals are reviewed regularly and collaboratively through termly Student Support Group meetings which involve the student, their parent/carer and host school.

At our schools, we believe in the vital role of education in fostering equity and equality. We are committed to supporting children and young people to reach their full potential through education. We support this through evidence-based practices that enrich students’ lives and focuses on what helps individual students to thrive.

Students who are referred into MacKillop have usually been provided with extensive adjustments in the school they are currently attending. Please return completed forms to Anne Henderson or Kris Bardon – contact details are on page four of the referral form.
